This client, a 34 year old reported she obtained abortion pills "in back alley near Children's hospital" but couldn't remember the name. She had a failed abortion that resulted in an infection with hospitalization and “almost died.” She had to have a D&C. Reports "It was a traumatic experience and I would never wish that on anyone." The father of the baby wanted her to have an abortion but afterwards told her all of the complications were "all her fault" because he didn't think she would actually go through with it.
